I wonder if some people fear free healthcare would create a domino effect where customers demand that ALL services be FREE from gas stations to grocery stores to car dealerships to movie theaters and that if you make one service free (just go in and get an operation with the government paying the doctors rather than the patients doing it) then all services in America should be free. That would probably destroy the saying, "Nothing in life is free" but also add new meaning to the saying, "land of the free" in a financial sense (freedom from expenses) rather than an emotional sense (freedom from oppression).
Answer: actually some of the most prosperous countries in the world over free health care to all citizens. The simple fact of it is when people are healthy they miss less work, complain less, and have more energy to do other things in life. I don't really think it would cause a domino effect because the less money people are spending on doctor visits and prescriptions the less it hurts to have to pay for everything else. It's easier to spend 60 to fill up your car when you didn't just spend 160 for a prescription after a 500 Dr. Visit. and the people saying they don't want to pay for everyone Else's insurance. This isn't insurance. I have insurance it pays for jack and shit and i have the most expensive package offered in my area. this isn't about entitlement. this si about the government providing a basic need for it's citizens regardless of thier financial status. Most of the people on disability right now could have been prevented if they could have afforded basic healthcare when problems first came up. Before condemning everyone as lazy entitled feeling scum maybe you should walk a mile in their shoes

2. Intestinal problems, what's really wrong with me?
When I was 15 years old (28 now) I started having a lot of digestive issues including constipation, diarrhea, nausea, and strong intestinal cramping. Tests discovered nothing wrong with me, but instead I was diagnosed with severe depression. My depression is being handled with Nefazodone. Now fast forward 10 years and the stomach issues begin to get much worse. I was finally diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome with constipation, but things are continuing to get worse and I don't think IBS gets worse with time or age. I'm noticing that I can't eat certain foods anymore, such as: broccoli, corn and corn meal products, garlic, cauliflower, snap peas, apples, oranges, watermelon, string beans, beans, wheat products, and a few others that I can't think of at the moment, without extreme stomach bloating and intestinal pain. I believe my diagnosis of IBS is incorrect, and I'm concerned it might be something else. I've tried talking to several doctors and they all continually think it's IBS. I can't live like this anymore. I'm missing work because of it right now. I'm so frustrated with the healthcare system. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this might be???? Please help me.
Answer: It is IBS. Broccoli is very high in roughage especially if you eat the stems, and this can irritate a bowel that has been already irritated by too much corn. Garlic, cauliflower, oranges, lots of beans and wheat are also foods that are high on the intolerance list for IBS sufferers. Lots of beans caused a build up of intestinal gas. Wheat is used too much in western society - in bread, most breakfast 'cereals' are made from wheat, as an additive in gravy powders, crumbing mixtures, cakes, crackers and biscuits. There are other grains oats, rye, quinoa, spelt etc - that can be used for making these foods. William Joel Meggs, an Immunologist, has written a book called "The Inflammation Cure". Chapter 9, page 101 gives advice on foods to eat to eliminate IBS and other conditions that are brought about by inflammation, such as some heart conditions, some cancers, Type 2 Diabetes, types of arthritis, obesity etc.

3. Why are Republicans the only ones who remind us of the Obama healthcare legislation passed earlier this year?
I don't hear Democrats even mention healthcare anymore, much less highlight it as an election year achievement. Are they running away from Obamacare?
Answer: As soon as they found out it was not "revenue neutral" as Obama's people said they stopped talking about it. Clearly it passed and people found out was was really in it.

4. If millions of more people will be covered, the deficit reduced, health care will be better, why are the Dems..?
running from it on the campaign trail? Democrat Candidates are declaring their independence from 0bama's agenda of spending and healthcare. Paulina .....this is your future.....OUT
Answer: Easy, you can't keep spending over a trillion dollars a year that we are borrowing from other nations. Also, if you would actually look into other Nations that have government ran health care it is not all it is cracked up to be. Also, just look at our Medicare and Medicaid which are both broke. Also, how can you reduce the deficit when at every turn Obama is planning on more government spending? Oh, by the way, 3 years ago I could find private coverage for $125 a month. 3 years later the same company wouldn't touch me for less then $950 and nothing changed at all but the Democrats passed legislation changing how health care is done.

5. How is Obama's new healthcare plan going to help the economy?
i simply just don't know
Answer: I dont know that it is supposed to affect the economy except help people to buy insurance with government assistance in 4 years. Every year of this plan new provisions are going into effect. It helps right now because children with pre-existing conditions cannot be excluded from coverage and single women dont have to be pregnant to get Medicaid and small business got a tax credit in January. Just from these measures you can see who it is helping. People are complaining that their insurance premiums have gone up. Thats because the insurance companies are being forced to pay claims for people who were not able to get insurance before and to make up for losing some profits.

6. How to answer question during interview why I want leave job?
I am leaving my job because I want to pursue something I want to do. The problem is I am currently at my second job after graduated from university. I quit a permanent job software tester for medical company to take a maturity leave position at my company (government agency non-healthcare related), I started doing admin and clerical work even though I have Computer Science/LIfe Science degree. My manager is a great so I learned a lot computer programming and he created a brand new permanent position. I took the temp job because I had two choice, either work in a small medical company as a software tester or take temp job in government agency. I don't regret my decision because I learned a lot about the real world, and would never gained skills related to Data Analyst (my dream job). I just don't know if I tell the interviewer I made the mistake by taking a temp underemploy job thinking it can lead me to my career goal I just want to correct it and get my life back on track.
Answer: You've answered your own question - you want to leave this job to pursue a job that fits your career goals. You've learned great things at your previous positions that have helped you build skills for the future, but now want to start down a career path. Be prepared to answer questions like "where do you see yourself in 5 years?" with a response that shows you want to advance to a better position within this field.
