4. What type of company is this?
Hi. I really want to start my own company and have financial freedom. My company would buy and build web property (websites) that seem as if they could do better, fix them up (adding content, marketing, design, etc.) to hopefully gain some profit from the sites revenue, and then sell the websites after six months. I know people do this, website flipping, but I would like to start a company that does it. I am great with internet marketing, and my good friend from college knows a lot about investing. He wants to partner with me on this company. What type of company are we (private equity firm, venture capital firm, media company, etc.)? If someone asks us what type of company we own and run, what do we say? Legally, what type of company are we?

5. Do YA conservatives' investment portfolios never include anything besides the 30 Dow stocks?
How else is it possible to explain conservative fixation on the Dow Jones Industrial Average, except to conclude that out of the 10,000 or so equities available for purchase worldwide, and the thousands upon thousands of bonds and bond funds, not to mention real estate investments, commodity investments, swaps, puts, calls, other options, other derivatives, futures, venture capital, and the myriad other investments that exist in the world.... ....conservatives have zeroed in on the Dow as the only relevant measure of the health of the investor economy? If the conservatives are the economic geniuses they claim to be, and if they're so certain that Obama is "destroying the economy" because they just "know" the DJIA is going to fall (as said repeatedly on questions here), then why aren't they investing in, for example: Rydex Dow Inverse Strategy 2x C mutual fund shares (symbol: RYCZX), which would guarantee them a return twice the size of any DECREASE in the Dow Jones Industrial Average? Could it be that the real reason the conservative geniuses never even consider other investments besides the DJIA is that they really don't know anything about other investments, and that everything they know comes from the headlines on TV news?
Answer: I'm more of an S&P guy myself, with total diversification and no cross-overs. Bush STILL about wiped me out in 2007/2008. Just shows you how bad he/GOP really screwed the pooch. It took years for the corporatist/cronyism/deregulation strategy to peak.
